- JJonathanOrlando / Central Florida East •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAda’s on the River is a must-visit! The entire experience was incredible, from the stunning ambiance to the exceptional food. The open kitchen concept with the wood fire oven added an exciting, lively touch—it was amazing to watch the chefs in action. The food was simply outstanding. The perfectly cooked scallops were a highlight—tender, flavorful, and beautifully paired with the corn soubise, which was hands-down the star sauce of the night. While we enjoyed the trio of sauces served with the hanger steak, the corn soubise stood out with its sweet, velvety flavor. Every dish we had was elevated and memorable, from the vibrant salads to the decadent desserts that ended the night on a high note. The staff, especially our server Abigayle, was attentive and welcoming, ensuring our meal was flawless. Combined with the chic and cozy atmosphere and gorgeous river views, Ada’s on the River is a dining experience we’ll be raving about for a long time. - SSamanthaWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoDefinitely a treat for thanksgiving! Wonderful and local, it was just a short drive for us to a fantastic Thanksgiving meal. The river view at sunset was lovely and the appetizers with warm cider and a creamy delicate bisque were Amazing! Service seemed a little disorganized which initially delayed libations but everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere was so nice (if a bit on the chilly side; bring a sweater) we just used the time for conversation. The meal was served family style for 2, portions were perfect and the right temperature (no small feat). The turkey leg confit (?) was excellent as was the dressing! A generous desert sampler ended the meal which was fun - - we enjoyed it but also sort wondered how great a pie of their creation would have been. We will definitely be back!More infoCedar KnollPrice: Expensive• American• Alexandria•4.4
- JjennyWashington, D.C. Area •48 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFor the third time, we ate Thanksgiving lunch/dinner mid-afternoon at Succotash. The crowds from early had left and the evening folks hadn't come, so it was relatively quiet. There is one menu for Thanksgiving, so we didn't have to make any decisions. Everything was great and we brought some turkey and ham, a deviled egg, and brussel sprouts home with us. The salad vanished quickly, as did the mashed potatoes and green beans. Desserts are so cute, and it is great to have several to sample. /They didn't make it home with us either! Our only addition was mugs of the hot mulled cider (sans Bourbon - no alcohol for us). It is truly worth it!More infoSuccotash - National HarborPrice: Moderate• American• National Harbor•4.5

That could have been my whole meal and I would have been perfectly happy:)More infoMia's Italian KitchenPrice: Moderate• Italian• Alexandria•4.7
