Peking duck was nicely done just not as crispy as I’d expect and the pancakes were quite thick relative to what I was expecting. The sautéed clams were good but I was somehow expected a bit more of a wok flavor Overall I was expecting or hoping for a more culinary experience. The service and dishes were Good but just not a delight or amazing for us

Our brunch experience at Acorn this afternoon was truly exceptional, especially for a fully vegetarian restaurant. The food was next-level delicious, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite. We highly recommend Acorn to all vegetarian food lovers!

Great first visit, food was very very tasty Drinks great as well, the NA pink lemonade was tart tho a small portion maybe 8oz, could be larger but very tasty 3 shared plates, a white fish would have been nice, I don’t eat salmon and am allergic to shellfish. Those few choices were the meat proteins on offer The Halloumi and spiced beets were standouts for us!

We are so glad to have spent our Christmas Day at East is East. This is our number one choice in Vancouver. There was no loud Christmas music. The service was very good and we always enjoy the food.

Fabulous gluten free options. Perfect for a vegetarian. Came for lunch on a Tuesday to this casual, unpretentious spot where it was quiet enough to have a conversation and linger... Truth be told, we sat, ate, & got caught up for two hours! We started with a PINEAPPLE PEACH SODA & a YUZU GINGER SODA -- the latter was so tasty, & not too sweet. Noticed the cocktails look fun-creative & are reasonably priced. We shared the SWEET-CHILI CAULIFLOWER appetizer - fantastic. Then I enjoyed a generously portioned BEET SALAD & my guest had the SOUTHERN FRIED CHICK’UN BURGER (quote: "Delicious"). We convinced each other to order dessert, & no regrets: The LEMON TART was outstanding, & I'm pretty sure I saw the ROCKY ROAD GANACHE TART disappear before my eyes. I'd been here just once before and it was just okay (14 months ago & I found my food too salty) but this time everything was tasty and perfectly prepared. Friendly service, too. Def plan to return!
