Best restaurants near me in Mills River, NC

First time at Root & Bone and really enjoyed dinner. The staff was very friendly and our server (Maggie) was attentive and courteous. Tried the biscuits and they were delicious. I think the menu and food choices has something for everyone. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Lamb Sirloin and Sides were outstanding. Deidra has waited on us before and was so excellent. We request her when able. Wine by the bottle moderately priced and encourages a bottle purchase over by the glass. Outstanding restaurant in downtown HVL. Easy parking at the 5th Ave. ramp.

Great meatloaf for dinner with the sides that it comes with. We also had buffalo hummus with the best chips for dipping. Great restaurant and casual so it was a great place to eat dinner and watch the National College Football game.

Great location and farm setting, excellent food and service.

They don't honor your reservation if there are people already there ahead of you who didn't make a reservation, so beware. We were told they can't turn people away just bc a table is reserved. We arrived 15 minutes prior to the reservation. We were eventually seated after the 4 parties that were ahead of us. Food was good, but beware if you make a reservation, it is only honored if they happen to have a table available.
