The Ferry Inn is a serendipitous country public house with welcoming staff, character rooms, candlelight, open fires, real ales, popular foods and fantastic sunsets. A 17th Century former smugglers haunt-- this is a pretty little pub in a lovely marshland setting with tables and benches on the front terrace and in the back alongside the riverbank. Inside it's very easygoing and chatty. The main bar has hop-draped painted beams, a green dado, and stools against the bar where they serve a beer called Oxney Ale specially brewed for the pub by Westerham Brewery. To the right is a cosy eating area with wheelback chairs-- ideal for a banquette with friends around a few long tables.

We make British food with a classic or modern slant. We source our ingredients from the local fields, woodlands and waters.     Starters and mains superb. Our waiter Rumain went above and beyond to make my husbands birthday special even singing happy birthday in Spanish to him. My daughter in law actually said it’s the best meal out she has ever had it was the clams in sofite rice ( very like paella). Thoroughly recommend.
