Best restaurants near me in San Carlos Park, FL

We have found a new gem in the Fort Myers area. The food was incredible. Cido, our server was so attentive and made us feel special. Ambiance was very nice. Very good restaurant that can compete with the best of them. We will come back often.

Our server Zach was amazing. He was on his game.

Service was terrible. Waitress was more concerned about another table than us. Had to flag her down a number of times. I normally tip 40%. She got 14%. I will avoid her next time I dine there.

While the food and service was wonderful Our arrival was not The restaurant was mostly empty on the New Years holiday. The manager was at the hostess desk He seated us. Walking our family of 5 to a round table by the patio doors and bus station. Since the restaurant was empty, simply asked for the beautiful round table in front dining space to which we were abruptly told no as it was reserved. We dined for almost 3 hours ….no more diners arrived. Why be dishonest to patrons? Why not try to accommodate? Why not welcome those in the restaurant making the choice to dine with you when there are so many other options in the area? Why not be appreciative of a family of 5? Clearly he knew based on the number of empty tables no one else was coming. A simple gesture, providing the desired table would have left all of us happier, but now, despite a beautiful meal and lovely server, the fact that the restaurant sat empty is the impression we left with. Was the manager more interested in getting us out? Or providing us a good dining experience?

We visited Conner's on New Year's Day for the first time in years and we had an excellent experience. Our server, Juan, was very professional and efficient (although the initial bar order took a long time). The food was very good. My filet was as good as any I've had and much less expensive than many other steak houses. We'll be back.
