In 2016 the Old School BBQ was born, using a freshly imported 1982 Bluebird International American school bus from Arizona as a mobile kitchen.The bus was converted from a traditional seated bus to a fully functional kitchen, with smokers and griddles to cook low and slow BBQ food. The OSB journey had begun, trading from humble beginnings on a local pub car park in Failsworth. Our little yellow bus soon became a familiar landmark and we became more and more popular with lunch goers who wanted freshly prepared, appetising food served with a smile. Soon demand meant that we would be more often than not greeting our customers with a "sold out" sign, so it was time to expand.So here we are, with a covered seated area serving our firm favourites, complemented with a fully licenced bar and WC facilities... did we mention the stage? I booked a table for Valentine’s Day around 5 months ago now and WOW this food did not disappoint! I got the carbonara whilst my partner got the beef ragu pasta. Although both were absolutely gorgeous (and definitely some of the best pasta I’ve ever eaten) I definitely had food envy from my partners plate haha! We started with the focaccia and trio of butters which was stunning, and I must not forget to mention how good the home made lemonade is!! As a huge pasta lover this is HEAVEN for me. I’d also like to thank our server (I’m unsure of his name but it was a young man with curly hair and a blue jumper) as he was AMAZING all evening. He was very attentive, explained dishes on the menu thoroughly and overall gave great customer service with a smile! Please ensure he gets the praise he deserves for this because I can hands down say that’s some of the best service I have received in years and that should be recognised!! Thankyou again x

Dined here with my girlfriend for our valentines meal, my steak was perfect however my girlfriend's steak came slightly overcooked; easy mistake to make it was very busy. We mentioned this to the staff and they were great. They allowed her to finish what she liked and gave us a full replacement meal with no extra charge even gave her a filet steak when she initially ordered the rump. The lady who served us was fantastic unfortunately I was unable to get her name however she was kind , understanding and reassuring when we mentioned the issue with her steak. Amazing customer service would recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing meal.
