The Coffee Club celebrates more than three decades of good food, great service and excellent coffee.Like all good stories, it began with a quest. On a 1989 evening in Brisbane, founders Emmanuel Kokoris and Emmanuel Drivas cruised Brisbane in search of an excellent coffee, but came up empty handed. Inspired by a gap in the market, they formulated a plan to take the world by storm – to create more than just somewhere for people to meet for coffee. A casual, comfortable and affordable experience, yet sophisticated and stylish. The Coffee Club was born, opening its first store in Brisbane that same year.From 1990, new director John Lazarou spearheaded a targeted marketing plan aimed at putting The Coffee Club front and centre for the world to see. The experience of dining at this magnificent restaurant was the food. The steak tartare is made to to perfection and the beef Bourguignon is delicious as for the cheese soufflé, amazing Steaks are cooked to perfection. You also have to try the Paris mash it literally melts in your mouth. To top off the experience we had Daisy to serve us who was great in every way. We definitely will be returning to try the other dishes on offer. Thank you Debutant for a great luncheon.

Delicious food. Our waiter/ sommelier Andrew was very helpful knowledgeable and personable. Great wine list. Great entrees and pizzas enjoyed by our group. We strongly recommend it and we will be back.

Very accommodating for a party of 14. One of the few venues that didn't require us to have a set menu with a price of at least $60 per person for a larger number of guests. Food was great.
