- DDebraVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEllie's Tap and Vine exceeded all expectations! The short ribs were absolutely divine—so tender they practically melted in my mouth. The osso buco was a standout with its unique curry twist, adding just the right amount of flavorful kick. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing, enjoyable meal. And whatever you do, don’t skip the apple crumble—it’s the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic dining experience. - KKathleenNew York City •11 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe’ve been to SY Kitchen many times, when we visit the Santa Ynez area. The food and service is outstanding. Their wood fired pizza is simply the best pizza I have ever had—including Rome. Pastas are well cooked and use the freshest ingredients. Prices are fair, commensurate with the quality. Their outside seating is my choice, as it’s quiet and mellow. The inside is more lively. Lots of locals eat here, which is a good sign.More infoSY KitchenPrice: Expensive• Italian• Santa Ynez Valley•4.9

Discover Santa Ynez Valley
Just up the coast from Los Angeles, nestled in Santa Barbara County along the Los Padres National Forest, is the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Many of the best produce farms in Southern California grow here, as well as some very accomplished vineyards. The Valley is also just inland from the Pacific Ocean, so there is always a constant influx of high-quality seafood. This leads to some of the best fusion and nouveau-American cuisine, including a variety of innovative and eclectic establishments. Their flair for California style mixed with fresh, high-quality ingredients sets the tone for many of the local restaurants, though you can still find plenty of high-quality traditional places, like steakhouses and great sushi.
