Perfect setting. The drinks where excellent and the food was fantastic. This and the beautiful view made Leo rooftop one the remember.

Very busy and atmospheric restaurant. Fantastic food, large portions (doggy bag provided if required). Quick service and friendly staff.

Beautifully decorated inside and very warm (nice in the winter). We got the most popular shrimp spaghetti dish, along with a rigatoni and steak medallion dish, and a roast goose and polenta dish as a main. All the food was delicious and service was good - just a bit more than we’d expect to pay for this normally. We did have two glasses of wine and had to purchase water so I suppose that is why too (and service fee was included). Overall I’d go again and recommend it, but if you only had one or two meals in Budapest and are able to get good Italian wherever you normally are, I’d say try something else and come here if you have time for a 3rd or 4th meal.

We’ve been visiting this restaurant every time we visit Budapest since we first discovered in 2013, and every single visit reconfirms why it’s one of our favorite restaurant! The food and drinks are always delicious, and the ambiance is incredible. This combined with highly skilled staff that always give the best wine recommendations makes this place worth visiting over and over again.

Fantastic experience at the Leo Bistro for Breakfast and Dinner. Great looking space, with a equally great menu and drinks options. Judith made us feel super welcome to dinner and Budapest.
