- RRogerVIPNew York City •20 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHaven't been here in a while as we got fed up with the same menu over the years. However, we got a present of a Dinner Voucher for there, so we came back to try it again. Wow! the Menu has changed and it features a new few things that we tried. The Starters of Prawn Pil Pil and the French Onion Soup were very good, I must say. We both had the Beef Bourguignon, which was to die for. It was more like Short Rib of Beef (without the bone), but the meat was so tender and melted in your mouth. The Sauce with it was really yummy. For Desert, we shared a Cheeseboard, which was also good. Service was good and pleasant. Could not fault the place. We will be back.More infoCornstore, LimerickPrice: Moderate• Steak• Limerick City•4.7

- SSiobhánConnacht •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024I went to Sophies for a Christmas night out with my friend. The place looked perfect for a Christmas meet-up. Our pizzas were delicious as were our cocktails. We had enough space around us to be able to speak to each other without feeling overheard. The place was busy but noise wasn't overwhelming. The best part was the young woman who was serving us. She was really friendly, accommodating, and had a good sense of humour. She made the experience so much better. I am sorry that I didn't take her name to thank her here. In a city that's overwhelming at Christmas we had a lovely night at Sophies that was relaxing and enjoyable. Well done to all involved!More infoSophie's @ The Dean GalwayPrice: Moderate• European• Galway City Centre•4.3
