- SSandraSacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our first time eating here. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had. It was really delicious. Husband had the duck and I had the burger and we both loved it. The restaurant is small which means tables are close together, but it wasn’t an issue for us considering the food made up for it.More infoBackDoor Bistro and Wine BarPrice: Expensive• American• Vacaville•4.7
- GGary and AshleyVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •318 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoTired of just OK food and service?! In the heart of downtown Napa, you’ll find SCALA . . . offering phenomenal food with stellar service, great energetic ambience (without being too loud) and counter seating at the full bar with all their menu offerings . . . not to mention front row/box seats at the Chef‘s counter overlooking the kitchen/crew and pizza oven ~ and don’t forget the oyster bar too . . . We’ve been more times than we care to admit (lol). Some of our favorites include . . . the Veal “Scala-ppini” marsala and mushroom sauce ($36) that will leave you wondering what you’ve been eating at other restaurants . . . to the Pork Chop Milanese lemon, capers and butter sauce ($32) that’s pounded flatter than a pancake, super moist with a slight crunch ~ Note: make sure to ask for extra sauce (on the side) as you’ll want to swim in it . . . we could keep going with the menu items, although we’ll end with their over the top Lasagna (classic) layered with bolognese and bechamel sauces ($32) and whatever you do, do not share or ask anyone if they’d like to try it, as you’ll never see it again. - IiamfredcSacramento / Sacramento Valley •4 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 10, 2024Food was very good and our waiter was excellent. However, one dish (chicken parmigiano with pasta and white sauce was dry). The open room with high ceiling makes for a very noisy eating experience. My wife and I will return, but on a less busy evening.More infoPietro's No. 2 Ristorante, Bar & LoungePrice: Moderate• Italian• Vacaville•4.5
