- KKarenCharlotte •3 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoEmily was our server and she was amazing. Professional, courteous and helpful. Good was great. Only reason I didn't give a 5 start, was that the temperature of some dishes could have been hotter. I got the mimosa flight and didn't like the seasonal flight. I wished I'd know what it was and I would have asked to swap it out. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. - KKimSouth Carolina •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe Blue Ridge rarely disappoints when it comes to the quality of the service and food. I appreciate the cleanliness as well. The only issue I have is how packed they have the tables. It is a fairly large restaurant, with multiple rooms for dining, yet they have the tables so close together you can easily hear all of the conversations around you. Additionally, when it gets busy, it is loud and hard to hear the conversation at your table. Aside from this minor issue, I do love each and every visit to The Blue Ridge. If you've never been, you MUST save room for the Banana's Foster dessert!More infoBlue Ridge -Omni Grove Park Inn & SpaPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Asheville•4.7
- FFranJacksonville / Northeast Florida •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had Cesar salad, parm French bread, filet/crayfish stuffed flounder, lemon sorbet. Each dish outdid the next. Our birthday dinner was RESY cancelled at another restaurant and The Blackbird was happy to accommodate us. Just fantastic evening and dinner. Thank you to all the staff!More infoThe BlackbirdPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Asheville•4.5

Discover High Country
While traversing western North Carolina, an area brimming with mountainous landscapes, waterfalls, forests, lakes and rivers, explorers need to stop now and again for some relaxation and nourishment. Fortunately, the High Country area offers up a range of delicious options served in beautiful restaurants and settings. The types of cuisine available tend toward American and Italian, although other options like seafood and comfort food are definitely also close at hand. The flavors in the local restaurants are as lovely as the surrounding landscape. Towns in the region that offer great restaurant options include Blowing Rock, Hendersonville and Boone. And of course Asheville, a smaller city that's big on acclaimed restaurants and healthy options, is not far at all. Many of the area's restaurants are locally owned and housed in unique locations like historic buildings.
