- DDr. KimberlyWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoAlex is an amazing server. He really took care of us. He made aolid suggestions and was timely and professional. This is our third time here, and the food was exceptional as usual. The halibut is amazing. Cooked perfectly! The seafood soup was flavorful! And I cannot say enough about the lobster risotto with scallops!!! On New Years Eve, we had the sea bass experience, and it was an experience. We also had the seafood salad and ceviche. OMG!!! Everything was awesome! Sea Grill is the perfect date night spot. Top notch experience!More infoSea Grill Restaurant and BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Charlotte•4.6
- DDerriciaCharlotte •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe came here for valentines day, and it was a really great experience! I highly recommend a reservation in advance to make sure you get a table at a good time. It was pretty crowded, and we waited for our reserved table for a couple of minutes, but it did not take long at all. The server we had was very attentive and knowledgeable about drinks and the menu. We both ultimately did the treatment with all seafood including both cooked and raw, but they can cater it based on needs, allergies, etc. Typically you can get 6-8 dishes, and we got 7 in all, so we were definitely full. The food was delicious, and our favorite the seared tuna! Highly recommend this place for special dates, dinners, or even a solo self care daye for yourself. It'll be a treat!More infoFin & Fino - Uptown CharlottePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Uptown•4.8
- RRazCharlotte •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was out second time visiting and we were NOT disappointed! First, commendable professionalism at the entrance and throughout service! 👏🏽 We had the fried green tomatoes and crab cakes for appetizers; my wife ordered the blackened salmon for her entree, with mac n cheese, and I tried the fish and grits. 🤤 Portions are always giving, and food was amazing!! 🤩 Music was just a bit loud and at times, hard to talk over. “However Comma” - the curated playlist gave us all the vibes, so we weren’t mad at all. 🎶 Service was absolutely on point (thank you Calissa!)! 🙏🏽 Definitely recommend! 🙌🏽More infoKitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley - CharlottePrice: Expensive• Regional American (Southern)• Uptown•4.2

They brought us an "extra" plate of roasted brussel sprouts to try and they were awesome. - SScottRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoA truly great French restaurant, with excellent dishes and outstanding service. Dishes tried. Every one was outstanding: oysters, escargot, sea bass, duck confit, hanger steak, creme brûlée. Steak frites with hanger steak and Bearnaise sauce was cooked to perfection medium-rare. Duck confit with melted leeks and banyuls jus was terrific, and I make duck confit regularly. The restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful in the city with high-ceilings and decor that makes you feel you are in Paris. Service was as good as the food. The bartenders, server, and service/FOH manager went out of the way to accommodate a couple of requests.More infoLa Belle HelenePrice: Expensive• French• Uptown•4.6

Discover Charlotte
North Carolina is a state divided when it comes to pork barbecue, but in Charlotte, the two sides of the great debate meet. In various barbecue joints around the city, you can find both the vinegar-based sauce that's popular in the eastern region of North Carolina as well as the more tomato-y option those in the western half of the state prefer. Fried chicken with crispy golden skin and plenty of plump meat is another Charlotte favorite. Coleslaw, rolls and a cold glass of tea (the sweeter, the better) often round out this traditional Southern dish. In contrast to the down-home fare that dominates much of the city's food scene, there are several Vietnamese restaurants around town that serve pho, yellow pancakes and other traditional offerings.
