Their seafood platter is truly outstanding—the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve enjoyed seafood at numerous restaurants across the U.S. This one stands out above the rest. The staff strikes a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. The manager was particularly impressive—humble, approachable, and committed to ensuring a great experience. He went above and beyond to make sure my husband was happy with his steak, promptly addressing and correcting anything that fell short. Frankly, South Bend Bistro is the absolute best food in the Sunriver area. Their menu has been created over the years to only provide the best of the best. We love the pork chop dinner and the baked brie appetizer. Most importantly I LOVE when the periodically add the Chocolate Pot De Creme dessert! I went there last night and they had an espresso version that was divine. The wine selection is magnificent and at times, we will buy an extra bottle of whatever they are serving because it is so delicious! The coordinator, Alexa, to set up our space was always very prompt with our communication and easy to work with. Our waiter went above and beyond for all the guests and remembered a couple of us that haven’t been in for months. The only thing I’d like to see changed is the ability to order a hamburger.
