- TTaylorRhode Island •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy husband & I dined here last night for a special anniversary & we had an amazing experience. All of the servers were so attentive throughout our entire meal. There were so many options to choose from between the cold food bar and the skewers. Eriq was an absolute pleasure to chat with & always made sure we had what we needed. The restaurant was immaculately clean overall and had great ambience. My only complaint is that the bathroom was really, really cold. We can't wait to return in the future!More infoFogo de Chao - ProvidencePrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Providence•4.2
- AamyVIPNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely DELICIOUS. We ordered a ton of appetizers- everything was perfection. Entrees were equally divine. Would recommend Circe to anyone visiting. Just go. Service was so nice and very cool. Cocktails perfect. After a very long day, Circe is exactly what my family and I needed. Just go.More infoCirce Restaurant & BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Providence•4.7

- JJenniferGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 14, 2025This was my 3rd time at the George. Food and service never disappoint! Both are exceptional! It’s pricier than other restaurants I typically visit, but it is so worth it! It is super noisy (all three times I have been sat at a 2-person table in the bar area; next time I will request to sit in the dining room area). If you love live music, the bar area is a great place to be, but don’t expect to have both music and conversation; also the locals sitting at the bar area definitely use their outdoor yelling voices to be heard over the music (so if you’re into ease-dropping, this could be your place! lol). In short, the bar is great if you know you’re walking in to a music and conversation room that will limit the amount of conversation you can have at your own table. If you are looking for dinner and conversation, I would not recommend NOT being sat in the bar area.More infoThe GeorgePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Providence•4.6

Discover Providence
Long known for its classic New England seafood, Providence has also recently garnered a reputation for fine contemporary dining options. As a college town, it offers an abundance of laid-back, reasonably priced restaurants. But because the Johnson and Wales University campus is home to a well-respected culinary arts program, the town has become a popular proving ground for up-and-coming chefs. Even Providence's college students know and expect good food, which keeps the standards in this waterside city exceptionally high. The food options have also been heavily influenced by the city's proximity to Boston and New York. That means a lot of hearty, locally sourced dishes and ample pizza options. Providence's palate is also quite sophisticated, with restaurants serving up everything including French, Swiss, Italian and even vegan cuisine.
