Luke was very attentive, helped with our menu questions and genuinely kind. Gisele and Amber made sure we were taken care of with great courtesy. The food was excellent and adhered to my dietary restrictions without losing flavor or flair. Very tasty food and welcoming ambience. I highly recommend.More infoJOEY University VillagePrice: Moderate• American• Laurelhurst•4.7
- GGailSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoArrived from Idaho, Oregon and Bellingham to celebrate a 70th Birthday. Walked right in and sat down for our 5 o’clock reservation for 4. Delicious clam dip and chips starter. Ordered large sea scallops over creamed corn (delicious and just the right amount), seafood salad (also a perfect size, but a tad salty), Muscovy duck and braised short ribs. Both had an alternative sauce because the advertised sauce Dixie Bourguignon wasn’t ready yet and it was an excellent substitution (took some of each home). We received more of the wine we ordered as compensation for the inconvenience and both our server Tea H and the maitred were very apologetic and enjoyable to talk with. Birthday beignets with Bourbon ice cream and sauce (complimentary and plenty for all) and an order of vanilla bean cheese cake we shared also. Thanks for making the celebration so special .I’ve never had a bad time here, totally worth the cost.More infoToulouse Petit Kitchen & LoungePrice: Moderate• American• Queen Anne•4.7

- KKristinVIPSeattle / Eastern Washington •12 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 11, 2025Went for my birthday and loved it so much I took a friend back a week later. Both times I had the Wagyu Bavette and love that you can pick your portion size. The second time they were out of the size I wanted so my friend and I picked a little larger one to share. Sides are a la carte so we picked a few of those too-the crushed potatoes and the shaved Brussels salad were both delicious and seasoned well. For my bday we had the Caesar salad which had a creamy, mustard-forward dressing and the perfect croutons. Cocktails are well made and balanced and they have some good NA options. We only tried the chocolate pot de crème for dessert, and oh my. Perfect to share because it is so rich and decadent, but not too much. This has become my new neighborhood favorite!More infoThe ShamblesPrice: Expensive• American• Roosevelt•4.8

Discover Roosevelt
Seafood is big in Washington state, but American cuisine and organically grown food dominate the city of Roosevelt. This seaside town has several cafes that cater to those who love a good hamburger and fries meal. Breakfast is also made the American way with pancakes and bacon and eggs as the norm. Getting an Italian fix is also doable in the city with restaurants offering traditional foods like pasta with a selection of wine. Of course, living in Roosevelt is not the same without a daily dose of apples with a side of garlic fries. Give it a try if you crave something new and exciting.
