We had a very good time at Barrel & Roost. Food was very good. My husband’s swordfish was cooked to perfection. And he is very cautious about eating fish out. Our server Samantha was excellent. Very accommodating and always checking on us. Kudos to you Sam!

We’ve been coming here for Christmas Eve dinner since 2020 and it’s always been great. Service and food is always spot on. Everyone here is very friendly and hardworking

Semolina is always our first choice when we come back to NJ. As usual is was phenomenal!!! The coffee crusted venison carpaccio was tender and delicious. I had the squash angolotti that were plump and the creamy sauce has just enough truffle and pepper notes. My husband had the spicy octopus ragú and it was light and flavorful. Finished the night with a hefty pot de crème that was perfection. Trish was out server and she was attentive, witty and efficient as the dining room was filling up punctuated by Bryson and Jillian who made sure we had everything we needed. once again walked away full and happy!

We had a dinner special that contained a half lobster, clams, mussels and shrimp over homemade linguine with Fra Diavolo sauce. It was delicious.

This is our go-to place, brought another couple tonight, and they loved it as much as we do. We had the perfect table in the back, and it was nice and big to fit all our great choices. The food was excellent, and my husband said it was the best pork chop he had ever had. Everyone left happy! 😊
