- GGiovanniVIPNew York City •38 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat experience food was perfect. Started with local oysters and the Shrimo and Lobster wontons which were crisp and had just the right amount of sauce on them. Then the wedge salad with the pungent blue cheese was a great. Finished with the NY Strip and Miso Cod. Steak was cooked exactly to temp and the cod melted in my mouth. The highlight of the night was the butternut squash side with the toasted marshmallow fluff and pecans a must try!More infoTellers: An American ChophousePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Islip•4.8

- BBRIANNew York City •13 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoITA Kitchen in Bay Shore is a hidden jem among all the restaurants along Main Street. When walking in the door you are warmly greeted and led to your awaiting table. We were sat out in the back of the property in a heated tent with permanent walls complete with gorgeous decorations and enough heat/ac ducts to make you more than feel like you are not dining outside in the 35 degree weather. The waiter we had was fantastic. Friendly, welcoming but not over bearing or hovering at all. As a waiter you need to be able to read the table and see how much attention certain patrons require. Everyone is not the same; some need more and some are very happy with the minimum and our server read us like a book. Drinks were great; tiramisu martini and a gingerbread Moscow mule(complete with a gingerbread man floater). Apps we had to go with the Ma, The Meatballs!! as well as the pesto arancini, both were delicious. We then had the chicken cutlet/vodka sauce/mozzarella entree and the veal chop/ prosciutto/ mozzarella truffle mushroom sauce/risotto. Man let me start by saying, damn!!! Huge portions but the flavor was spot on and my eyes rolled in the back of my head on the very first bite. I’m a professionally trained executive chef who has worked in many a NYC three star kitchen and trust me when I say, run don’t walk to have this veal chop. Best single dish of food that I have had in a very long time. Amazing. Could only finish half it was so enormous. Dessert was tiramisu and a cappuccino which is my go to dessert. Again spot on. It was a great meal and I am glad I didn’t pick Chili’s for a burger tonight 😂 Bravo to the entire Team at ITA Kitchen; and to the Chef, hats off to a phenomenal meal that I am so very grateful to have enjoyed . I will be back 1000%. Great food, great service, lovely atmosphere and an overall fantastic experience is a recipe for a winner 🏆 Great job all around 👏More infoITA KitchenPrice: Expensive• Italian• Bay Shore•4.4
- JJaimeVIPNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAmazing food and service. We ordered raw clams, an outrageous goat cheese tart and truffle fries for apps. Entrees included the steak frites, pork chop, tomato bisque with grilled cheese and chicken/brie/raspberry jam panini. Pistachio parfait for dessert. - MMichaelNew York State •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Food was phenomenal and the waiters were great - only complaints are that the tables are too close together and it gets loud. Frankly, the food more than made up for that. I had the best brisket on the island, and my girlfriend had the lobster mac and cheese - both 11/10. Parking in Bay Shore sucks so get there early if you're going Thursday - Saturday.More infoRoadtripPrice: Expensive• American• Bay Shore•4.6
