- DDavidPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI have dined at many steakhouses, both mid-tier and high end, and this was the first time I have eaten a steak without and additional sauces or toppings because the steak I got was absolutely seasoned very well. We decided to go here for a birthday dinner in the family and it was a good choice. The only downside or thing we thought could have been better was the appetizer options or at least having the appetizers that are only available at the bar also available in the dining room.More infoFirebirds Wood Fired Grill - YardleyPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Yardley•4.5
- SStevePhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEverything was very good both food and service. My only complaint was our server didn’t offer us the specials. We only knew they had specials when we were done eating and heard them being offered to the table next to ours.More infoCafe AntonioPrice: Moderate• Italian• Morrisville•4.7
- KKimberlyAtlantic City / South Jersey Shore •1 review4.0Dined on Dec 9, 2024The food and staff are outstanding. Revere has always been consistent and never disappoints. Our server, Mike was friendly and always made sure we were good. If you have never eaten at Revere before now is the time. The fried calamari is always fresh and cooked to perfection. The crab cake and crab stuffed shrimp are excellent and the portions are more than enough.More infoThe Revere RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Italian• Ewing•4.7
- IIda LuciaVIPPhiladelphia County •311 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 5, 2024I always love coming back to Trattoria Rosa Bianca because Chef Anthony never disappoints with his creative and delicious recipes all of which tastes as good as my beloved Nonna,Lucia Donna Di Dio Falanga made in her Brooklyn kitchen. The Roasted Octopus is divine, but the Osso Buco is to die for! It’s perfectly prepared in a light, mirepoix and tomato base sauce over a bed of saffron flavored risotto. The complimentary house salad intermezzo is perfectly dressed to cleanse the palate between courses and the homemade focaccia sops up all that yummyness!More infoTrattoria Rosa BiancaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Yardley•4.7

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.
