- KKevinVIPWashington, D.C. Area •47 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis was a nice quiet atmosphere for a lunch with friends. I’ve had many pleasant experiences at La Tomate and this was no exception. One suggestion is to give diners more time to review the menu before ordering. Overall, though, a very nice meal and surroundings. I need to remember that this oasis is right in my neighborhood and I should go more often.More infoLa TomatePrice: Expensive• Italian• Dupont Circle•4.8
- KKimVIPNew York City •18 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe had breakfast at the Tabard Inn because it looked like a unique hotel that I wanted to check out, and it was within walking distance from where I was staying. The hotel was charming and unique in its eclectic furnishings. The dining room was quiet. The breakfast was almost half what I paid at the Jefferson Hotel the day before and twice as good. I had eggs over easy. I asked for my bacon well done. It was cooked to perfection and one of the best orders of bacon I ever had. The biscuit and hash browns, which were more like roasted potatoes, were delicious. The service was attentive but not overbearing. I would return the next time I'm in DC.More infoTabard InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Dupont Circle•4.7

- LLorraineVirginia •23 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024We had family visiting DC from Australia. They suggested Italian. I just picked this restaurant based on cost, as we were a party of 6. Our guests arrived before us and had appetizers. With that & one bottle of wine, a couple of beers & main course, our bill came to $245. The restaurant is very open. It was loud and difficult to hear the person sitting across from you. The food was delicious and our guests raved about it. On a weekend night (Fri-Sat), a reservation is a must. I'd definitely go back. Added bonus was the parking garage (altho outrageous price $21) is right next door on R Street.More infoSette OsteriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Dupont Circle•4.5
