    This is by far one of the best restaurants in NYC. The staff is exceptional and go above and beyond in making it a warm experience. The food is excellent. One guest had allergies and chef made sure she could enjoy her meal safely. Must try when in the city!

    We had a great experience! Been to a lot of steakhouses, but this was one of the best experiences I have ever had at one. Jesus was our server and her was wonderful! Super friendly and knowledgeable. Felt like he was serving us as friends. Thanks Ocean Prime!

    Our reservation was for 7:30 but the 4 of our 6 person party were stuck in horrible holiday traffic. When we told the hostess she was very understanding and did not have any issue with the fact that we would not be sitting down at our table at at 7:30. Our waiter was very chill. Loved that. It’s a big restaurant but I loved that we were seated in a room where the acoustics were not overwhelming and we could all talk to one another. Food was very good, but pricey.

    The service was fine but the food was extremely EXTREMELY disappointing. Chain restaurant feel. I had a quesadilla for lunch earlier in the day that was more satisfying than my diner here. I ordered the twin lobster tails and what was served to me amounted to less than what I would get from a shrimp cocktail appetizer in a good restaurant. I’m still trying to figure out how they flattened the tails before serving them. For a moment I thought it was a single tail that was butterflied. DO NOT recommend.

    We had 6pm reservations two Saturday’s before Christmas. We walked in and the restaurant was crowded. A friendly staff member met us, took our coats and we were immediately taken to our table. Victor our waiter took our drink order and we were served within 5 minutes of us arriving. Food and Service was excellent!! We really enjoyed being at Ocean Prime. Great Job Victor!
