   We had a wonderful experience at Oceana! I’ve been to all the Liviano owned restaurants and none are lacking in flavor or quality! Oceana is no exception. We enjoyed a tasting menu where I ordered the grilled octopus, blank ink linguine and the sea bass. All was flavorful and delicious! My wife who is gluten free had beet salad, risotto and grilled scallops. Everything was delicious. Our waiter Eli (not sure about the spelling) was attentive and accommodating!

   Consistently FABULOUS We had the black bass - the fish and asparagus puree was excellent. Tuna tartare appetizer never disappoints. Also had a raw scallop appetizer that was one of the best things I ever tasted. Cooked scallops were done to perfection and were delicious. Add stellar service and it’s a win. As always.

   The staff was very helpful and extremely attentive! The sommelier was exceptional and really knew the wine. We were impressed and really enjoyed our moment at Oceana. When we travel to NYC in the future we will definitely eat here again. They sat us in an amazing booth for our anniversary and really made our celebration memorable. We are very grateful for our memory of this anniversary!

   Pre Theater Prix Fixe Dinner is not worth ordering . Main dishes were okay but the sides were not favorites . I cannot eat broccoli rabe and the management was not accommodating rigidly adhering to a no substitution policy. I ordered spinach for an up charge which was very salty. Desserts were unimpressive—- cookie plate items were tasteless! Food was okay but would not be in a hurry to return

   Oceana has been in business for years. It's a beautiful space, has a great, large bar area. Fish is certainly what you want to order, and the mains come with nice vegetable accompaniments. The brussel sprouts are quite tasty too. They have a nice wine by the glass selection, although at the typical NYC prices.

   We visited the restaurant on March 15th for my husband’s birthday and had the 4 course Chef’s tasting menu. Every dish was delicious. The staff was attentive. We throughly enjoyed the evening.

   our server was awful. he came to our table all of two times. when he asked for our food order he literally said “what do you want” in a horribly rude tone and the next time he came was to drop the bill. which was 90$ for some pasta, no drink , no apps. literally the worst experience i have had at a restaurant.
