ONE53 is a ninety-nine seat cozy neighborhood restaurant & bar serving New American / Euro Bistro cuisine in a relaxed setting. We combine local hospitality with traditional & contemporary dishes.

Our menu features seasonally changing specials using only the best and freshest seasonal ingredients.

ONE53 features wines from the U.S. and Europe along with a full bar that offers a variety of traditional and specialty hand-crafted cocktails. We're located in Rocky Hill, just minutes from Princeton, NJ.

    The food here was delicious (pork chop with peppers and cassoulet) but it was quite cold where we sat at the end of the bar. It's winter and there is only one door to the outside. There is a heavy curtain but that doesn't do much when people are coming and going. How about putting in a second door???

    Wonderful experience as always. Duck leg confit risotto was very delicious with the risotto perfectly cooked, neither under nor overcooked. French Onion soup was a warm and comforting starter for a winter evening. Can’t go wrong at One53!

    Very good food last night. Ribeye special was delicious. Shrimp in garlic/wine as app always excellent. Salad with squash tasty. Good service. Tables usually tight, but had a good spot for two.

    This was a family dinner to celebrate our marriage--all was special and perfect, excellent food, desserts, wine and even the espresso was beyond delicious. The staff was courteous, very pleasant and professional--perfect place to celebrate a special occasion

    We eat here often because the menu is a nice mix of classic but with a twist. The food is delicious and always comes out hot. The servers are always courteous and helpful.

    We have enjoyed dinner at One 53 many times. Last night we took friends as our guests for dinner. We were shockingly disappointed with the menu and the food preparation. The food was served barely warm or overcooked. The vegetables were inedible; the pasta overcooked; and french fries were soggy. The seasonal menu was quite limiting. Management’s need to turn over tables quickly resulted in a rushed dining experience. We had barely had a chance to look at the menu to order drinks when the waiter returned to review specials. We asked him to come back later so we could enjoy our cocktails snd conversation before placing our order. We will not be back.

    BRAVO - WELL DONE! 5:00 on Saturday right after New Year. Almost full restaurant by 6pm. Our waiter was timely, attentive but not intrusive. Spicy shrimp appetizer - high quality ingredients cooked to perfection with toast baguette slices for dipping in addictive sauce. Not spicy so that is misleading. Grilled Octopus appetizer - perfect execution and taste. Cassoulet - a myriad of flavors - enjoyed everyone. A lot of beans. Flounder - Easy to mess up by overcooking but it was cooked perfectly along with green beans and light pasta accompaniment.
