L'Orrery est un établissement incontournable pourvu d'un toit-terrasse élégant, situé dans le quartier verdoyant de Marylebone. Le restaurant s'est vu attribué une récompense par le Tatler Restaurant Awards, dans la catégorie « Test of Time », à l'épreuve du temps. Certaines choses ne se démodent jamais et la cuisine raffinée du chef Igor Tymchyshyn en est le parfait exemple. Le toit-terrasse du restaurant Orrery constitue l'un des endroits les plus agréables de Londres pour déguster des plats en plein air. En fait, le bar et la terrasse bien exposée de l'établissement figurent parmi les meilleurs spots pour savourer des boissons dans un cadre décontracté au sein même de Londres. C'est l'endroit idéal pour échapper à l'agitation du West End.

Amazing food and attentive service. So why was the restaurant quiet at 7.30pm on a Friday night? What are they doing wrong? Well I would thoroughly recommend for high quality food. Adding on the tip is becoming the norm. But 14.5% is getting high. Then add in the cover charge of £2 per person. Ok… not enough for me to complain about. But now they add on a charitable donation to the bill. Sure you can ask for all of these to be removed. But who does? Customers just don’t come back. And I think that’s what’s happening here. They need to have a rethink.

The decor of the meal was beautiful; however, the dishes seemed to be a fusion of French and Italian cuisine. I'm not sure if I would want to come back.

My favourite local restaurant. Staff lovely, excellent service, food looks and tastes great. Prices a little higher than most but worth it for the views and ambience.

Perfect dinner menu, seafood ravioli followed by a perfectly cooked steak, and a tangy and yet sweet mango sorbet served on top of a silky chocolate mousse, excellent wine list, excellent service from both restaurant staff and an expert sommelier.

This is a very nice restaurant, on the 1st floor, but flooded with light. It is classy and quiet. It would be ideal for a business lunch. I met friends over lunch and it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was very, very good but the portions are a bit small. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was enjoyable and relaxed. It is not that cheap but was worth it. A 3-course meal at lunch time is £40 (set menu), which is actually very good value for money. With wine, bread, supplements, etc., however, it came to £75 per person approximately. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. The dinner menu, à la carte, would be pricey and there are few wines under £50.
