   So sad to say this but terrible accommodations for dairy free allergy, and vegan guests- the server had no idea what to suggest for either of us. I (dairy free) was told any fish should be fine, was served a rock fish in a full cream sauce. Our vegan guest was suggested a chicken Parmesan with mushroom or chicken fettuccine with a mushroom… both cream/cheese heavy dishes. I already hate to have to be the picky one at the table but it’s so much worse when the server isn’t well versed in this, I expect more out of a top notch restaurant. Food tasted good and ambience was good. Just disappointed in this.

   Our server was amazing and as always the manager was very friendly and helpful. A great dinning experience.

   Not ext busy but didn't get dinner for 85mins. Server didn't even tell us the daily special on menu. Not warm at all. Prices are way too high for this restaurant. Chicken parm was forgetful with gummy pasta. I want to like Orso in its old glory but will not be back, Kincaid Grill / Jen's / Southside Bistro have better prices and service.

   Hadn't been to Orso in awhile and was pleasantly surprised. It was nice to see a fairly wide variety of Alaska seafood on the menu. One would think that would be fairly common for restaurants in Anchorage, but sadly it is not of late. It was also nice to see a refresh of the house cocktail offerings. All in all it was a pleasant evening of good food and service!

   Great steak (better than Sullivans). Always nice. Pretty Christmas decorations. It's too bad you can't ask if people want to be loud; loud can be fun. But, the women next to us were guffawing so loudly (nothing is that funny), that we could not have a conversation.; sad face.

   This was not our best experience at Orso. We were seated promptly for our 6:15 reservation. Despite choosing salads and entrees fairly quickly, we did not receive our salads until about 7 pm. Our wait for our entrees took another almost half hour before they arrived. Our server, Patty, was helpful & gracious despite her being obviously overworked-I’d swear she was covering almost half of the main room by herself. Despite all this, 3 of the 4 at our table ordered dessert (even though it was only 8:30 by this time, they were out of the 4th person’s dessert choice). I ordered the creme brûlée risotto which, after spooning into, was found to be very runny and not at all set up firm like they have made it many times in the past. Also to our disappointment, we were told that Orso has discontinued their excellent Limoncello Panna Cotta. All in all, I was a bit disappointed in our overall experience, especially since I’ve eaten at Orso off & on over the years since they opened, and I’ve never had an experience like this one. I’m hoping it was an extremely “off night” for them. I sincerely hope it gets better than it was this night.

   From drinks to appetizers through main courses and dessert... All 5 of us were extremely happy with our food. The music selection playing over speakers was a little incongruous with the fine dining ambiance and it was also a bit loud... they would not change it when we asked politely. Just a minor tick off an otherwise superb meal.

    Our server was fine, but not very detailed. My chicken parmigiana was ordered without vegetables. It came out a plain fried chicken cutlet over pasta with nothing else. The person who brought it out realized there was no sauce on it and offered to get it for me. 5 minutes later I got the sauce. The server came by and said “oh I can have them make it again”. At that point we needed to be eating as we were going to see a show. No way would it have been done in time. No apologies for the way the meal came out and very little else interaction wise. I don’t know if I would recommend or come back.
