   Beautiful evening on the Riverwalk. Butter Braised Halibut was perfectly prepared and the Valentine’s Day special Dover Sole was delicious.

   Nice restaurant on canal and service was very good. I had clams linguini and it tasted excellent. I was a little disappointed that it contained 3 clams and was pretty expensive (almost $30). I can understand the prices being a little higher due to location but I thought this was a little too much.

   April provided superior service; perfect timing on courses, very informative, and unsurpassed in customer relations. Ostra was a participant in Culinaria's Restaurant Week which supports culinary education. We think that this participation hlps any restaurant to be Outstanding.

   Love the raw bar options. We are inside which was nice because it was chilly outside but they have great outdoor seating right by the Riverwalk too. They are very great with food allergies. The chef knows his stuff. Thank you!

   We had a wonderful anniversary celebration at Ostra last night. From our time at the bar and continuing through our meal, the service was top notch and made us feel very special. Sydney was our bartender, friendly and accommodating. She even decorated our complimentary glasses of sparkling wine with carved strawberry hearts--very cute. Table service from Gilbert was exemplary. He was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The kitchen provided a complimentary amuse-bouche--delicious! The rest of the meal was also expertly prepared. Dessert of ricotta pistachio cake with coffee was the perfect ending to a truly memorable dinner. Thank you all, especially Gilbert!

   Took a very long time to get our food (over an hour). We had to ask waiter for an update. They said it was because they had a large party at another table (10 people) but the restaurant was mostly empty otherwise. The waiter and manager offered a couple service recovery choices and while we didn’t accept any, it was thoughtful. The food was tasty and the noise level was low enough for us to have conversations. Perhaps another night the kitchen would be faster. If so, would recommend.

    We have been a regular since 2015. Our waiter, Nick was amazing and was familiar with the menu. He always is at our service with a professional demeanor and attitude and greets us every time we come in. The restaurant manager, Kim is always making sure we are satisfied with every aspect of service and venue. We look forward to visiting again soon!
