   This place has gone way downhill. Our waiter was fantastic but the support was not—didn’t seem to know whatSide dish came when we were done with the entree. They were out of the premium wine. Granted, it was January 1st and they might have been exhausted from Nee Year’s Eve. It was our anniversary and they did have a nice acknowledgment and dessert.

   We had a good New Year Day dinner in the restaurant as a family of seven. The ambience is excellent particularly with the life music and the view of the Seattle downtown. The service is excellent particularly with our server Brian. The food is good.

   Honestly very disappointed on NYE dinner. Have dined at Palisade dozens of times over 30 years including several NYE dinners. The service was great but the entrees on the short menu were sub par. My guest had the lamb chops and they came with two tiny chops that were gone in four bites. I had the large prime rib which had absolutely no flavor at all. The au jus and horseradish sauce were even more bland so there was no way but salt and pepper to create flavor. For $80 apiece o expect more from the hat used to be a top notch restaurant.

   So sad. Palisade used to be a shining star. Now it feels like a cruise ship dining room with sad food to match. We were there to use a concession that the restaurant gave us for a previous bad experience We were seated in a lovely window table. The view is amazing and best thing left at Palisade At 28 minutes seated, first drink had not arrived nor order taken. It was NYE so busy but shouldn’t overwhelm. Server complained about long day of work. We were there to celebrate not be brought down. Shrimp Cocktail good. Clam chowder good. Had to ask for bread. Then had to ask separately if it was dairy free for my husband. Had already advised of dairy allergy. Server did not read any of our special requests. Steaks were not prepared correctly and mashed potatoes were cold. Servers and bussers walked around floor debris many time - random fries and paper and a lighter! Key lime pie good. Sorbet was flavorless. Service was haphazard Children were running and playing in the aisles near our table. Just not a great anniversary and NYE dinner. We won’t return

   Food was ok (I always forget restaurants do preset menus for NYE which isn’t my favorite. Salads were overdressed but all in all understandable for a busy night), Bar was very slow, ambience and service were good!

   What a beautiful place to celebrate the new year. Our server was great. He was atentive, and took great care of us. The servrr asst who helped cleared the table was great as well he made sure plates were cleared, and that our table stayed cleaned. My husband food came out and it looked awful. You could tell it had set in the window for sometime. He said that it was one of the "worst dining experiences he has ever had. My meal was just okay, lacked flavor. Our desserts were not impressive. I know key lime pie, and this was no key lime pie. It had more topping than pie, and the crust was soggy. Beautiful restaurant, sadly our New Years celebration was dampened by the food.
