Le Parachute est un restaurant de quartier pouvant accueillir 40 convives qui sert une cuisine d'inspiration mondiale que l'établissement appelle coréenne-américaine. Soyez conscients que bien que ce restaurant s'efforce de servir une cuisine et des boissons remarquables, cela reste un petit restaurant indépendant à la gestion familiale. Vous n'y trouverez ni fumée ni miroirs, mais seulement une cuisine chaleureuse. Cet établissement possède un nombre de places limité et peu de personnel. Les propriétaires du Parachute pensent avoir la capacité et les moyens de rendre leurs clients heureux lorsqu'ils viennent manger dans leur « maison » (c'est comme ça qu'ils considèrent leur restaurant). C'est un lieu qui peut être bruyant lorsque le restaurant est complet, mais cela rend l'atmosphère un peu plus conviviale. Tout le monde est toujours content dans cet établissement et cela se ressent dans l'atmosphère qui émane du restaurant. Le personnel du Parachute est impatient de vous servir avec un sourire chaleureux.

Enjoy an exclusive night out in our Semi-Private Dinner Nook with our shareable Chef’s Menu and Beverage Packages that seats up to 9 people! Just like back home, our communal dining experience is meant to be shared, and served in 4 courses. Chef's Menu is $75/pp + beverage pairings are $50/pp. $1200 minimum on weekdays, and $1500 on Fri/Sat. Does not include tax + 20% service charge Offerings are subject to change based on seasonality. Please tell us any dietary restrictions for your group at minimum 48 hours in advance in order to best accommodate. 6 - 9 guests for 3 hours. Deposit of $50/pp collected to secure the reservation which will be applied to the final bill. Fee of $50/pp if canceled within 48 hours.

Glad they brought back the delicious bing bread for closing night. Chef Kim embodies hospitality.

We LOVED everything we ate at Parachute. We shared the Korean fried chicken, haemul pajeon, 30 day dry aged bulgogi, yukgaejang, and s'mores patbingsu. The vibe ws really fun and our service was great. When they open again, I'm certain they will bring the same care and expertise to another excellent experience.

Holly was fantastic! Food was great. Sad to see this place go from its original location… we’ll patiently wait for its new home and support them. Thank you for a great evening!

Parachute has been a favorite gem and this was our last meal with them before its closing down service next week. I offer only the highest of praise to the chef/owners and their staff - what fabulousness you have provided. Looking so forward to the next adventure!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? There is a reason this restaurant has gotten award after award. Believe the hype. It's just that good. Despite the challenges a global pandemic has wreaked on the industry, Parachute remains exceptional. Flavors, combinations, presentation and service were excellent. I am sad to see this quality restaurant leave Avondale but am looking forward to coming back to their "new, larger space downtown" when it opens. Congratulations to Chefs Kim and Clark and their entire staff on 10 incredible years.

We had a wonderful experience at Parachute. The seafood was the freshest and the addition of Korean style boudin noir to the appetizer menu made a very pleasant and satisfying experience. Sorry to read that the restaurant will be closing on March 23, 2024. Hope it re-opens soon at a location in Downtown.

We were super excited to get a reservation at Parachute, but left feeling very disappointed. The vibe and service were good, although we did wait a long time between our starters and entrees. The restaurant is criminally overpriced. We paid $33 for a noodle salad that was basically cold noodles with gochujang. All the portions were very small though they say they’re all meant for sharing. Looking back through pictures in old reviews you can see that the portion sizes used to be much bigger. The food lacked both flavor and texture. Nothing was bad, but nothing was memorable either. We spent $100 each on dinner and left not feeling full. I feel genuinely confused by the situation because of the reputation of the restaurant and the prices they charge.

I haven't been here since before the pandemic. I'm beyond thrilled that this place is still around. Everything is still absolutely high quality - the food, the service, the ambiance - I can't wait to go back!
