About this restaurant

  • Neighbourhood gem
  • Good for special occasions
  • Good for business meals
Founded in 1913, this family-run, Italian-Creole restaurant is located in uptown New Orleans. It is famous for creating barbecued shrimp.

This neighborhood restaurant is vintage New Orleans, from the service to the decor. The oyster bar is always manned by a friendly shucker. The oysters are fresh, salty, and delicious.

The old time oyster bar and cocktail bar offers raw oysters on the half shell and all types of cocktails. We offer fine seafood, Italian specialties, and delicious steaks.

In 2023, Dickie Brennan & Co. welcomed Pascal's Manale into their restaurant family.

Chicken Parmesan was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. Was surprised to hear that they did not have teabags so we could not have hot tea. Someone should have gone to Rouses

Ellen, thanks so much for feedback! Apologies for the hot tea miss and yes we should have had. We're good and stocked up now and await your next visit. Chicken Parm is a favorite of mine as well. Classic. Again, appreciate the head's up! Take care.

The oysters Rockefeller had no spinach and were terrible dried up stuffing discs lacking moisture and overly stuffed so the oyster just tasted like grandmas two day old dried stuffing with no spinach cheese or flavor. We agreed they were the worst ever. This place needs an update. Drinks were meh nothing creative. All around we were disappointed this was recommended to us.

We have visited Pascal’s Manale on every visit to New Orleans over many years and are pleased that it still delivers a great dining experience even after a change in ownership in 2023. The BBQ shrimp is their signature dish but we found the other offerings, such as the wedge salad and several of the non seafood fish dishes to be excellent as well
    Pascal's ManaleResponded 7 days ago
Thanks Charles! We try to accommodate all tastes and/or dietary restrictions. Trying to improve every day sir. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about our restaurant.

I’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed. Great New Orleans restaurant in an uptown neighborhood away from the bustle of downtown. Famous for their BBQ Shrimp, but their Italian and seafood dishes are delicious. If you are coming to NOLA, make this one of your stops. If you can get Eric as a waiter, he will take great care of you.
    Pascal's ManaleResponded 7 days ago
We made sure to share the shout out to Eric and you're right, he's very attentive to his and a consummate professional. We appreciate your review!
