   The decor was lovely, but the food didn’t live up to its promise. We had paella and the rice was hard. The server told us that for two people we should get one small paella and for side dishes, which was far too much food for two people and could have easily served for. We ended up eating too much and regretting it. The best two dishes were the calamari and the mushroom croquettes. The paella was just so so.

   Patria was amazing! My wife and I had reservations for her birthday and loved every moment. The drinks were stiff, the food was amazing, the ambiance was a vibe and the staff were a delight. We will definitely be back as my wife has now added it to our Top 5.

   We had come because of an offer of a free glass of Cava obtained at TIFF, and made a reservation before seeing another film at TIFF. Because of the need to get to the show, we had a short time line. To help, we notified Patria what we wanted when we reserved. We were disappointed that they have a policy of not beginning preparation until guests arrive so we would have to have waited 45 minutes. As a result, we ordered the fastest to prepare dishes on the menu and then bolted to the theatre. That said, the food was delicious and the service was accommodating.

   Paella always is a hit. Ceviche was good but portion is so small. Overall it’s always a good time at Patria

   Food is excellent. Some portions small for the price but it’s downtown Toronto so average. Tables are too close together. We found it a bit noisy and the service was ok. Would still recommend for the food.

    Stunning restaurant, lovely ambiance, and the food was nothing short of incredible! Great non-alcoholic cocktail and beer options— service was impeccable, with Zane standing out as a true gem. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and recommended his personal favorites, which have now become mine as well! Everyone was so welcoming, this place is a 10/10 and an absolute must-visit.
