    Very nice lunch (with the exception of the mug of coffee which had virtually zero taste. When I mentioned this to our server, she reacted in the proper way and subtracted the charge from our bill. I suggest that someone check your coffee machine.). Peasant Cookery is always a pleasure and I’m sure to be back soon.

    We were a party of three. We were seated as soon as we arrived & provided with excellent service. Our appetizers, main course & desert were delicious. We will be back again.

    My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening at the Peasant Cookery. Our server was very attentive and answered our questions about the menu etc. As well, it was a Tuesday evening and it was 1/2 price wine night which was perfect. The meal was served hot and was delicious. We enjoyed the chicken and peasant pie as well as the ribs appetizer which was incredible. I would recommend dining at this historic Winnipeg landmark.
