The team at Bistro V (formerly known as Versailles) has been proud to serve the Greenwich community since 1994 at Méli-Mélo, but the story in town actually began in 1990 at the original Versailles café location a few doors up from our current location on Greenwich Avenue. The beloved Avenue has seen many changes over the years and when the current owner spotted the “for sale” sign posted on Versailles’ front door, nostalgia kicked in and could not let another Greenwich institution go! A facelift, a menu shift, and Versailles was reborn as Bistro V. Inspired by the classic bistro in France, the team at Bistro V is excited to share another cozy local hangout with their loyal patrons from Méli-Mélo and newcomers alike. Located in the heart of Greenwich, Bistro V is an all-day restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everyone’s favorite meal – weekend brunch.
