Hamrock's Restaurant is located within the Moore-McCandlish House (built 1842) in the heart of historic Fairfax City. We've been proud to serve delicious made-to-order American dishes using fresh ingredients since our establishment in 2016. We also have a wonderful hand-selected wine list to enhance your dining experience. Approximately eighty-percent of our menu is-- or can be-- gluten-free, as we use only canola and olive oil in all of our cooking. Some of our best-selling dishes are our southern fried chicken, grilled meatloaf, and crab cakes-- all which are gluten free! Other menu favorites include our deviled eggs, firecracker shrimp, Atlantic grilled salmon, roasted pork tenderloin, and penne pasta with andouille sausage & shrimp. We have beautiful year-round outdoor seating options on our wrap around porch (we have heaters!) In the warmer months, we also open our courtyard. The tasting menu with the wine pairing was creative and delicious. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and paced the offers of assistance perfectly. She also had a delightful personality. This is a must-try dining experience.

Trully gastronomic and chic ambiance, even though no dress code is required. Very nice place for couples and romance. Healthy and tasty! Lots of non-alcoolic beverages (includig non-alcoolic wine and mocktails )
