He curated our food selections & really nailed it. Food portions are small. Works for me but gets expensive trying to satiate a young guy. I’d love to see the “tacos” be sized for at least two bites. We ate in the atrium area at Nobu Palo Alto. It is probably lovely in the summer when you can see the garden. On a chilly, rainy November night, it felt a bit like being in the overflow area. There are tables throughout the facility but only 2 people serving tea service. When we first arrived, I placed an order for French fries along side the tea service. They never came, i didn’t make a big deal until we decided to stay a bit longer. I told the waitress that our fries never came, could we place an order. 45 mins later, still no fries. She walked by and I asked her, did you place my order for fries, she said yes. 30 minutes later, no fries but the table in front of us got an order of fries. That’s when I got up and left. We had to prepay for tea service or else i wouldn’t have left a tip. She never checked in on us during our stay, we had to flag her down when we needed something. Cute place but never coming back! Everything was gorgeous and displayed beautifully. The birthday serenade was fun and energetic. This location is a great neighborhood gem.
