Best Live Music Restaurants in Lakeview/Gentilly

The chef at ,Ye Olde College Inn hit a home run on our Valentines evening and with a great old time time New Orleans experience. Ye Olde is always on the top of my where to go eat list for great food in the Big Easy.

Went there with my girlfriend for valentine’s day, she enjoyed her mashed potatoes and north atlantic lobster tail while I enjoyed my valentines day special which came with Scallops over beefroot risotto, then a main filet mignon with a north atlantic lobster tail, the desert was a cherry tart kind of pie with whipped cream, strawberries, and dried strawberries on top, all tasted very good and our waitress was attentive while also managing all her other duties so we tipped her well.

What a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner we had at Landry's. The good was excellent, the view was perfect, David - our server was outstanding and the atmosphere romantic. A most pleasurable experience.

My wife and I ate here for Valentine’s Day. We had the Oyster Bordelaise appetizer to start. The oyster were cooked perfectly, with a light batter but still an excellent texture and very tasteful seasoning and accompaniment. Caesar salad was also ordered and one of the better salads I’ve had in a quite some time. I order the 6oz Steak and my wife had the shrimp pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly, excellent sauce and sizeable shrimp (also cooked nicely) Steak was great and so were the roasted potato and mushroom argodolce. First time there. We will definitely be back. Service was also excellent.

First night in NO. Food was amazing. I had Grilled Lamb chops but mashed potatos were lacking. GF had pork chops with mashed sweet potatoes and spinach. Salad and seafood gumbo were great starters. Took a while to get drinks. Shouldn’t be that difficult to pour wine and grab a cold can of beer. Overall food was great, atmosphere was great. Live jazz in the club could be heard from all tables in the building w/o having to buy the ticket to enter. Great atmosphere and food.
