First Flight Island Restaurant and Brewery is located in the home of Pan Americans office, where the first American international flight ticket Key West- Havana, Cuba was bought on October 28th 1927. The restaurant features a beautiful garden dining area nestled under the canopies of 2 Strangler Figs, an inside dining room with Pan American memorabilia and an indoor- outdoor crash bar made from an airplane wing.This is also the birthplace of the Southernmost Brewery in the States where 3 flagship and seasonal beers are made by Brewmaster Andrew Koennecke. We had an excellent experience dining at Viva! The staff was beyond amazing, our server Joe was top notch and very attentive! The food was served promptly and everything was delicious, the skirt steak was amazing! Others in our group enjoyed the creamy chicken and salmon, everything was great! We came for Sunday brunch and it did not disappoint. Everything we had so so good. The biscuits and gravy were hands down the best We have ever had. Would come back every time we are in key west no doubt.

Daniel was out serving and he was awesome. He gave us time to unwind and wasn't in a hurry to get our orders. He checked on us but wasn't pushy. Fun personally! The food was terrific and the view made it all worthwhile!
