Best Restaurants with Bar Seating in Little Italy / University Village

We had an amazing experience. We made a reservation for two and were placed at a shared 8 top table. Not what we wanted to experience that night. We asked the reservation specialist if we could move to a quieter more private table and she was able to accommodate us within 5 minutes. Marcus, our server, did an asking job explaining the food and beverage menu. The food was quick and tasted amazing (oyster's, artichokes, pizza). Atmosphere amazing and the bathrooms were clean. Love the lotion in the bathroom.

I want to extend a huge thank you to every single member of the Shaw’s team for making our Valentine’s Day celebration so special. Valentine’s Day is one of the most chaotic nights in the restaurant world, but the service at Shaw’s was absolutely flawless. A special shoutout to our server, Manny, who struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us space to enjoy our evening. The food and coursing were, as always, immaculate, and the crème brûlée paired with an espresso martini was the perfect way to end our meal. Thank you again, Manny, and the entire Shaw’s team for such a memorable experience!

Amazing food and staff. I have never been more grateful with the staff at a restaurant than with the staff at Hide + Seek. Due to certain events, I was late to my reservation. The staff was kind enough to extend our time even when we were only allotted 90 minutes. Extremely grateful! Will definitely be returning! This time on time! 😉

We love Bar Mar and can always count on an exceptional experience. Firstly, it’s beautiful in the restaurant, and there’s not a bad seat in the place. It’s bright, airy, luxurious and so well-designed with intricate and dazzling fixtures. Everything we’ve ever ordered has been delicious, and it’s always played so beautifully. During this visit, we ordered the burger and lobster roll (and split them since they’re both so good). Both were seasoned well and the burger had element such as peppers that provided it with an elevated and different flavor that was so savory and delicious. The lobster roll was well seasoned and cooked to perfection - very tender. Last but certainly not least, the service here is always outstanding. Our server Jefferson was so welcoming, kind and prompt. Jefferson made my sister’s birthday very special! We were surprised with some hamachi cones and key lime pie thanks- both of which were out-of-this-world delicious, and we will be ordering those when we return! Best key lime pie we have ever had! Thank you so much to Jefferson for making our day!
