We loved The Shambles from the minute we walked in and now we continue the heritage of what was created before us. On the food side: high quality steaks, cut in house. Cooks who have the freedom to create seasonal dishes ranging from foraged mushrooms to house made sausages. To go with your meal, we offer skillfully made, non-fussy cocktails, carefully selected wines, a plethora of beers, sours, and ciders on tap and a a robust non alcoholic selection.     We had amazing time. The area had no power after the storm, but the restaurant was on backup generators fully up and operational. Exceptional food and service (as usually).

    We were there on day 1 of a massive WA power outage.where most of east side seattle was experiencing a blackout and the few restaurants that were open had a 90 mins wait and frazzled skeleton staff. We drive around for a while and decided to make a last attempt at Redmond Town center and see if we could find a decent place with a reasonable wait. you never would have known this was all happening based on our experience at Matt’s. We were greeted and seated promptly. The staff were so cheerful and we were very hungry and our server took our order right away. I had the halibut fish tacos. Delicious and substantial pieces of fish in the 2 tacos. My friend enjoyed her steak bites and fries. I hadn’t been to Matt’s in years but will return after this experience.

    Fabulous birthday dinner at Emorys tonight. We loved the 3 course dinner for $33. Such a great deal and delicious. Brought a fancy bottle of Caymus wine to share and the corkage fee was very reasonable.
