Best Lunch Restaurants in Northbrook

We love dining at all the Lettuce establishments… When we dine at the Glenview Wildlife we always ask for Maryann.. but she was off this visit.. So we had Karen….. she was terrific…she really is an asset to the Glenview location…we feel we are lucky to have 2 fine servers

This was our first visit to the new Ema Restaurant in Glenview. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The restaurant decor was beautiful, the server Ellie was very friendly and helpful in explaining our choices on the menu. Our meal was delicious and we enjoyed our selections and were happy with the delicious Greek Yogurt dessert for the birthday girl which we all happily shared with her. We give Ema 10 stars and will be returning and we will recommend your restaurant to everyone! The Kupperman Family

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Di Pescara. The crab cake appetizer was a bit of a disappointment, though. It tasted ok, but I was hoping it would have larger lumps or chunks of crab, since it’s called “Jumbo Lump Crab Cake”. It didn’t. My wife got the Horseradish-crusted Whitefish, and I got the Mediterranean Branzino. Both were really good, but we each liked our own dishes slightly better. Our server, Marco, was excellent. You could tell he has a lot of experience. The restaurant was pretty full (Sat night), but the noise level was not too loud at all.

Bluegrass was a pleasant surprise. Great variety on menu and the waitress explained options well. Met the owner Joanie and manager tableside checking on us and learning about each other. Bar service good with Hurricane and ale. Our party of two dined on pulled pork sandwich, Rémoulade Salad topped with lump crab and added a serving of fried crawfish. Delicious! Tried the shot of Gumbo and was not disappointed. Finished with gifted serving of Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding. Going back to try more southern menu choices.

Very nice place! The food was delicious! Big portions and very reasonable prices!
