- TToriLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoAgh, the Tirol, food made with familiar ingredients combined as the Swiss do from intoxicating mountain peaks. As I have Swiss ancestry I can say the food is frank, and precise even the food comes in peace indeed the coziness of knowing what is simple, say pickled celery. The air might be thin at the mountain top yet here it is sturdy like a mountaineer’s cane with a finish as bright as pears and smoky fish with your own milk pot bubbling with cheese. It’s calming it’s fun it’s a night out full cheer. I’ll budiono that.More infoAlpenrauschPrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• Southeast Portland•4.5

Sweetbreads came out too salty and the waitress replaced them quickly and this time they were perfect. We even took Spanish sausage sampler home. Always a solid place to go.More infoOlympia Provisions SoutheastPrice: Expensive• Contemporary European• Southeast Portland•4.6
- CCharles WPortland / Oregon •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe Thanksgiving buffet was perfect. A great selection of appetizers and the entrée selections met dietary needs. Turkey, prime rib, salmon, as well as a vegetarian mushroom dish and vegan mushroom dish. The chocolate flour less cake with ganache was spectacular. The only very minor issue was the timing of our entrée. Two arrived before we were done with our appetizers. In the servers' defense, it probably was hard to time considering that diner was finished with his appetizers. Overall, I highly recommend this for a memorable experience.More infoGracie's - PortlandPrice: Moderate• Regional American (Northwest)• SW Portland•4.4
- MMichelleOrange County •8 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoMade a lunch reservation for 2 people @12:15pm. The restaurant was basically empty (only a few tables with guests seated) when I arrived. We were seated immediately at a window table with a fabulous view. A friendly server arrived promptly & answered all our questions about the menu items. My friend and I shared Caesar salad, king salmon, goat milk cheesecake and cappuccinos, all of which were delicious, well prepared and beautifully presented. We enjoyed this tasty lunch and impeccable service… we’ll be back!More infoBellpine at The Ritz-Carlton PortlandPrice: Very Expensive• American• NW Portland•4.6
- AAlexandervipChicago / Illinois •9 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoKachka has been on my bucket list for years, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations. Growing up in the same Russian-Jewish community in the suburbs of Chicago as Chef Bonnie, the experience felt deeply personal—like a nostalgic trip home, but elevated in every way. The menu was not only fun but incredibly thoughtful; you can tell so much care went into curating both the dishes and the space. The service was fantastic, and I have to give a special shoutout to one of the food runners who delivered each dish with an intensity that made the experience even more memorable. My favorite part of the dinner was sampling the different flavored vodkas. The birch flavor was phenomenal and stood out as my favorite, with horseradish coming in a close second. And do not miss the apple dessert—it tasted like something my mom used to make, but somehow even better. Kachka is everything I hoped it would be and more. I can’t wait to come back!More infoKachkaPrice: Expensive• Eastern European• Southeast Portland•4.8
