Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Highland Village

Love Moxies. My families favorite haunt in Southlake, TX. Lets see, where to start... Love the atmosphere in the bar area. Great for sports, great for general people watching, very vibrant scene. For those who want quiet sit in the traditional restaurant side (yawn). For me, it's bar seating at Moxies! Next up the drinks... Chocolate Old Fashioned is my "go to" . Appetizers, its Potstickers, Steak Bites and Chicken Lettuce Wraps... My go to entrée is the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni and desert is Sticky Toffee Pudding. Did I mention the service is fantastic? All the servers are terrific. Generally a seasoned staff, people that work here seem to stay here. Tonight we had Jocelyn, she has been here almost 5 years! Hard not to be a big tipper when everything about the place is perfect.

My wife and I chose to celebrate Valentines Day Weekend 2025 at the Capital Grille in Southlake, TX. We could not have asked for a better experience! The food was delicious, the ambiance was amazing and the service Adrienne provided was beyond superb! This is my new favorite restaurant and I will be a frequent visitor. Thank you for a fantastic evening Capital Grille.

We haven’t been out to dinner in a few months because of the way the food Wes prepared. Seemed every meal was rushed as in if you ordered a steak dinner the steak would be burnt on the outside and cold on the inside and the sides that came with it would either be extremely hot or cold. The wait staff seemed rushed. Calabrese was a great combination of the way restaurants should be. The welcome from your staff was warm and professional. The waiter we had was very friendly and not rushed. He was very educated about what menu. And about what his job was. Everything came out as advertised and told to us. From the start to finish. Even Theo we weren’t rushed we were only there less than 2 hours with the valentines dinner menu. Most restaurants should offer menus on a regular basis to make the restaurant experience easier and less stress. We will definitely be back to Calabrese.

We had dinner at Jellico's for Valentine's Day. When I made the reservation, the 3 course menu was posted and it sounded great for the price. The food was delicious and they included extras that made the evening even better... a red rose, champagne toast, and chocolate covered strawberries in addition to the dessert. The only hiccup was we had to ask three people for knives to eat our steak and fish before someone actually brought out two knives. I would dine here again.

We had a wonderful dinner. Only problem was the noise level. Had asked for a back quiet table, but when we arrived for our reservation the hostess first offered us a table in the middle of the front room. She finally found us a table behind the fireplace that was acceptable. Richard was a wonderful waiter and anticipated our every need. The was a private room right behind us with a table of 6 men. That room would have been a much lower noise level, but evidently the hostess could not seat us in that room. We will be back.
