Best Restaurants with Private Rooms in Richmond

Our entire experience was great. We sat in a room we call the Presidents Room, because from the walls hang a picture of each US President. We had mushrooms as an appetizer. For dinner, we had the Kona filet with lump crab and asparagus, and loaded mashed potatoes. And we finished with cheesecake. The entire meal was fantastic, as was our server, Jackie. When I think of Carytown the first place that comes to mind is Can Can Brasserie. And like fine wine, it’s gotten better with age. From arrival to check we were made to feel like VIP. The drinks top tier, an extensive champagne list including vintages from 2000 and beyond. Even when ordering bread the food is always plated beautifully and creates an atmosphere all on its own. For brunch do the Quiche Du Jour and French Toast. And for Dinner you have to do the Scallops. Non-negotiable on that. They are life changing.

Tess was absolutely wonderful in making this a birthday celebration to remember. From the beginning, she was a member of our family. We all enjoyed her food and drink recommendations that were spot on. The weather was rather bad on the outside, but the environment was fantastic on the inside. Fun was had by all, a large party of lucky seven!

The Ruth Chris Steak House in Midlothian is, in my opinion, one of the best in the chain. This is the third year in a row that we have gone to RCSH for Valentines Day dinner and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere including a wandering quartet and pianist playing dinner music to the meal and service is top notch. Our server was Brigitta and she is both professional and personable. The manager stopped by to check on us as he did to many tables which is a great way for them to check on any problems ahead of time. No complaints from us and we will be back.
