You definitely knew it was the day of love. I had the gnocchi which was delicious. They were like little pillows in a yummy tomato sauce with sausage. My husband has the pork chops which he devoured as well. Our waiter was super nice and attentive given the fact the place was packed. The food was another star of the evening, arriving promptly and tasting delicious. However, there was one minor hiccup - the grits accompanying the chicken entree were served cold. A suggestion for improvement would be to heat the plates before serving to maintain the warmth of the dishes. On a sentimental note, my wife and I honeymooned here eleven years ago. Back then, the prices were about half what they are now, which gave us a bit of sticker shock this time around. They always comp a birthday dessert, and the banana cream pie is Amazing, but all the food is Amazing. The tuna appetizer is our favorite. Filet is always cooked perfectly and do not forget the cremini mushrooms....sooo good. Our daughter loves the mashed potatoes and my husband loves the lobster bisque. It is ALL delicious. And we LOVE Fraser. He is the best server. We ask to sit in his section every time we go there. So friendly, great recommendations, and always takes care of us...attentive to anything we might need.
