Located in the heart of Gramercy in the restored Assembly Hall of the landmarked United Charities Building, Hawksmoor is a steak restaurant that celebrates all-natural, pasture-reared, and traditionally dry-aged beef. Our beef is seasoned simply with sea salt and cooked over live-fire charcoal. Our seafood is locally and sustainably sourced from northeastern waters and we use small-farm produce whenever possible. On Sunday afternoons Hawksmoor keeps with the tried-and-true British tradition and features a Sunday Roast.     My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Hawksmoor last night. The ambience, service and the food were exceptional. For appetizers we had the scallops ( best dish of the night ) and the potted beef. For our main we went with the porterhouse for two and the beef fat fries. Steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were amazing. For dessert we had the pavlova and a anniversary surprise.

    Came for Valentine’s Day, our resy was for 9:15pm and we arrived at 8:30pm but we got seated in less than 5 minutes which was nice. The best thing we did was order multiple appetizers rather than 2 main entrees. It was nice to sample the menu and the food was AMAZING. (the drinks too!)

    We and the misses have never experienced Lebanese cuisine prior to our Valentine’s Day (2025) visit, and Ilili did not disappoint! It was also our first time having caviar, truffles, tuna tartare and everything tasted simply divine. The courses were well paced and the choices were abundant, but not overwhelming.
