Superb meals served hot and fresh. The bartender is great at his craft, very friendly and attentive.

Restaurant is beautiful inside and seating is comfortable. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive. Both me and my friend are gluten sensitive and she was able to point out our options and gluten free pasta is available to substitute on any pasta dish listed. The espresso martini was amazing! We also had the truffle fries, arugula salad, and scallops. All delicious! Highly recommend. But be prepared to spend some pennies!

We ate the best meal in Salt Lake City we've had in years this Friday night at SAOLA. I eat Thai food once a week at some great restaurants, but I've never had Thai food elevated to the level it was at SAOLA. We had mussel shooters, papaya shrimp salad, Kobe beef skewers, Peking duck, Thai iced tea, and 2 desserts. Everything was seasoned and spiced delicately. Well thought out menu that they don't just throw heat at to cover quality issues like some Thai places do. Extremely impressed, will be eating there more often and referring it to others.

The food was great, the service was pretty bad. The waiter forgot half our appetizers. Took a drink away and never brought it back. Took plates/forks, we had to ask for new. Dropped off a piece of cheesecake for a birthday, no forks. We waited 10 minutes and had to ask the bar for forks. Getting drink refills was super slow. The restaurant wasn’t that busy.
