I still miss the more casual neighborhood feel of the old LaGriglia on West Grey where you always saw friends when you walked in the door and the servers and even the valets treated you like family.More infoLa Griglia - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• River Oaks•4.6

However, it is difficult not to compare a HH at Októ to a HH at Doris. I am partial to the steak skewers at Doris. I booked a table outdoors as I had read about the noise level indoors. Alas at 7p the music was turned up to painful decibels and we were on the patio. It was ridiculously loud and left the evening on a down note.More infoOktóPrice: Very Expensive• Mediterranean• Montrose•4.5

We had the pleasure of meeting Brian and he is by the far the best server I have ever had in a restaurant. I don’t return to most restaurants after eating there once. However I will always go back to ZantiMore infoZanti Cucina Italiana - River OaksPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• River Oaks•4.7
- KPKPMCvipHouston •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI dined at March in September 2024, before it had received one Michelin star, with my daughter, and yesterday with my parents. Compared to two months ago, the food and presentation was equally outstanding, but the service was slower, not as fluid, and the ambience was greatly diminished due to the very high noise level. For example, in the lounge, we were served still and sparkling water, finished drinking that before our cocktail of vermouth was served, and finished drinking that before the amuse bouche was served. In the dining room, the noise level was so loud that it was difficult to hear our waiters and waitresses describe the food and the wines, even though they were standing right at our table, and it was impossible for my parents, even with hearing aids, to hear what our servers were telling us. - KKaiWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoOur dinner at Drake’s was just what we needed for a date night and a special time together for my boyfriends birthday. I appreciate the grace as we were running late and the team was accommodating and kind, even though we were behind schedule and closing was at 10p. Thank you for the hospitality. A little bit of kindness goes very long way.More infoDrake's Hollywood - HoustonPrice: Very Expensive• American• Montrose•4.6
