Best Casual Restaurants in Tallahassee

Cafe de Martin is easily one of my favorite local restaurants. Whenever a friend or group of people want to gather and are looking for recommendations, Cafe de Martin is always first on my recommendation list. The food is consistently delicious. The staff is consistently patient, hospitable, and personable. Whether I am inside with the cozy atmosphere or outside enjoying the beautiful scenery it's a great time. On this specific evening, I chose to sit outside with my guests so they could experience the live music. Cafe de Martin did not disappoint. I got song happy birthday, my nephew danced the night away, and friends discovered a hidden gem. Nearly 20 people gathered for the first time in this space and those same individuals spoke of returning as the night concluded. Cafe de Martin earned every one of the new patrons they received that night.

Absolutely perfect. Great food and drinks. Service was great as well.

The staff was very nice, but one of the waiters had trouble remembering what we ordered 30 seconds after we order it twice
