Best Casual Restaurants in Lake Zurich

Outstanding food and environment. Fish was outstanding, meat excellent, drinks supurb, environment the best. I am sick of restaurants undercooking meat to "prove" they are sophisticated. "Medium Rare is what "Rare" was 10 years ago. I like it rare to medium rare; but high end restaurants keep pushing it more rare - IMO so they aren't "judged" on being unsophisticated. It's becoming absurd today - for ALL high end restaurants lean in this direction. We need to develop a legit standard.

Been here twice now, once for Mother's Day brunch and once for Valentine's Day dinner, and it was perfect for both occasions. Great views of the lake if you can get a seat by the window, but still great ambiance even if you can't. Entrée selection was small but delicious. Would definitely recommend for special occasions or date nights.

Absolute wonderful. I don't think I have ever been disappointed.

Start it out with oysters for one of our party, who said they were excellently cleaned, and very delicious, and then had the grilled calamari, which was fantastic. Between the three of us, we had the lobster risotto, the seafood supreme, and the veal piccata, all of which were very, very good. We ended up with the spumoni cannoli and chocolate lava for dessert, which topped off a fantastic evening Our waiter was there anytime we needed them and checked on us on a regular basis and kept us happy very nice very great service will definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Hidden gem in the corner of a strip mall. Large menu with good variety to please everyone in your party, and a full service bar. Prices were reasonable and portions generous. Our food was very good. Service was a little disjointed/oddly paced, maybe because it was busy. I would definitely come back, though - the food is worth it!
