Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. But the city kept asking and we’re glad to be a new staple in the Queen West neighbourhood for mimosas, chicken and waffles, and piping hot coffees. Outstanding, as usual. The flat iron tartare was the winner dish of the evening, a 'special' that deserves a permanent spot on the menu. Service was impeccable; the servers' attention to detail was exactly what you would expect from a M rated restaurant. My third time at Quetzal. So far, its been better each time I go.

We celebrated our Anniversary at Alo and had the best time! The service is impeccable and the food is the best we've had! Kudos to the team for being amazing! Everyone will make sure you have the best time! We are amazed with their attention to every detail! We definitely had the best time!

This is the most fun authentic restaurant in the city, it’s not a chain and the owner is always there making sure everyone has a great time. Delicious food, drinks, and very friendly service. 10/10 recommend this restaurant for a fun birthday dinner! They had a live band and performers in the heated back patio, it’s always a party here!
