Belmonte’s Ristorante crafts fine Italian cuisine in its elegant and charming eatery, located in the seaside resort town of Asbury Park. For starters, the portabella mushrooms stuffed with eggplant, spinach and mozzarella and the battered artichoke hearts Francese make excellent choices. If pasta is what you are craving, Belmonte’s Ristorante has many delightful choices, such as the potato gnocchi in a meaty Bolognese sauce, the shrimp pappardelle Roma with mushrooms and asparagus and the fettuccini Frankie with crumbled sausage, escarole and beans.
